About Me
I am an artist, storyteller, and researcher committed to exploring the intersections of music, culture, and education. My work spans multiple disciplines: music composition and performance, event production, teaching, and academic research, all driven by a deep curiosity and a passion for creative expression.
As a musician, I blend indie, electronic, and folk influences with Hindustani classical elements, crafting immersive sonic experiences that reflect personal narratives and philosophical explorations. I have also led cultural initiatives like MEHFIL: A Coke Studio Tribute, fostering artistic collaboration and community engagement.
Beyond music, I am dedicated to education and research, focusing on the role of art in shaping perspectives and fostering innovation. Whether through teaching, producing events, or interdisciplinary projects, my goal is to create meaningful, thought-provoking work that bridges artistic expression with intellectual inquiry.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Khoj (meaning "search" in Hindi) is a deeply immersive single that encapsulates a year-long journey of sonic exploration and self-discovery. Blending indie, electronic, and Hindustani classical elements, the track was meticulously crafted and mixed in Dolby Atmos to create a fully immersive listening experience.
The project’s intricate sound design and storytelling led me to explore new creative dimensions, earning me a spot in a VR experience-making class at MIT last semester. Khoj isn’t just a song—it’s an auditory and spatial journey into the depths of curiosity and meaning.
Commercial folio and audio journal available upon request.
Ongoing Project
Something Human, EP
At its core, Something Human is an exploration of what it means to feel, connect, and exist in a rapidly shifting world. Through a fusion of indie, electronic, and Hindustani classical influences, this EP delves into themes of self-reflection, impermanence, and the raw, unfiltered moments that shape us.
Beyond the music, Something Human is a multisensory experience, inviting collaboration from visual artists, filmmakers, and storytellers to bring its themes to life. It’s about bridging sound and imagery, philosophy and art, emotion and storytelling, crafting a world that listeners can step into. A study in Vulnerability.
If you resonate with this vision, let’s create together.

“Create with curiosity, express with honesty, and evolve with purpose.”
~ Aasmi Gambhir.

Aasmi’s philosophy:
"Music is the way I live, the way I see the world—it shapes my perspective. Creativity, to me, is an evolving conversation, a way of exploring, expressing, and connecting. Whether through sound, storytelling, or creative direction, I aim to build something that resonates and sparks curiosity."
This portfolio is a reflection of that journey, but creativity is never static—it grows, shifts, and expands. If my work resonates with you, let me hear about it. Let’s connect, collaborate, and create something new.
